Another jam packed month filled with lots of fun activities.  I've been working with the youth of my church for the last 4 years and ice blocking is still one of my favorite activities with them.  This time I brought both Lily and Harrison who think it's the coolest thing ever.

More and more hiking.  The kids love it.  I love it.  We always have a good time :)

I get this look from Lucy a lot, so I thought it was post worthy.

Teacher Appreciation Week
We made these fun little treats for the teachers at Lily's school.  Do you see what it is?  An apple cupcake :)

Mother's Day
My children completely spoiled me.  They made me lunch, gave me gifts they made, and even made their own spa.

Lily and her good friend, Maya, went to see a fun Disney performance the local high school put on.

 We got to see the solar eclipse (kind of) from our street.  You can just barely see part of it behind the clouds.  

Grammy came to visit with Aunt Norma.  It was so fun having them here for Lucy's birthday!

Grammy and Aunt Norma made Lucy's birthday extra special by helping us celebrate.  We spent the day hiking at Garden of the Gods.  Then, we came home and had a very interesting dinner of sushi, fondue and beignets.  Lucy also enjoyed her birthday cupcakes.

I love that Lucy has such a big personality.  She knows what she wants and she's not afraid to go after it.  She wants to do everything her siblings do.  She's fearless.  She is also incredibly compassionate.  If someone is sad or hurt, she's the first one there trying to comfort them.  I love that she's a complete goofball and already loves to make people laugh.  She can put on quite the show.  We love you, Lucy!  You are so great!

Memorial Day - Rock Climbing!

We went rock climbing with some good friends.  Everyone had such a blast :)

Last but not least, our pool opened!  What a great way to end the month!

Oh, one more thing . . . soccer ended for Lily.  She loved her team (this is their fall team picture and they had some new girls play this spring).  She made a lot of improvements spring season.  She scored lots of goals and had a blast. They changed their names from Fairies to the Sparkling Dolphins.  So cute.  I got to be the field coordinator this season, which means I was the referee for the home games.  I was a little nervous about being the ref, but it ended up being a good time.  Plus, Lily loved it when I was out on the field with her.
